No Mercy ready to dominate, win 91 – 44

Michael Pietrus said it best about Kobe Bryant in Lil’ Wayne’s record, “you never know what your gonna get.” That’s the scene watching one of the most talented teams in the league, No Mercy. Returning member Gene Shepherd has organized a team that has yet to reach it’s potential. Playing in only their second game together No Mercy almost broke the century mark against Ve-Nice, 91 – 44. Ve-nice proved to be no matched for the overly talented No Mercy.

Leading all scorers was Dion Currie 25 points and 11 rebounds. The ever popular Kenny Jones added 17 points and shot 50% from the strike. Also getting in on the action was Bryan Lockwood with a near double-double with 8 points and five rebounds.

Opening tip, No Mercy versus Ve-Nice

Right from the tip No Mercy took control and never looked backed against Ve-Nice. The run & gun style is the strength of a team ready for battle with the Warriors in the coming weeks. Rush and Johnson will provide a sound counter against the ever popular Kenny Jones and company.

Ve-Nice fell short this game without their main players in action. Team captain David Rogue finished with just two points and six rebounds in a modest effort. Ve-Nice will rebound and challenge the elites in due time.

LEAGUE NOTES: All players be sure to arrive early prior to the tip-off to prevent delay. A technical foul will be assessed to the tardy team and play will commence shortly after.
