No Mercy deliver knockout blow to the Aces

Fresh off the Holiday break, No Mercy was energized and showed why they are #3 in the Power Rankings. No Mercy lead by as many as ten points in the early moments of the first half and extended the to win 90 – 71 against the Blazin’ Aces.

Leading all scores was No Mercy Kenny Jones finishing with 23 points, nine rebounds and 5-10 from the strike. Gene Shepherd has built a team for all opponents and this was seen on numerous  occasions.

The opening  two minutes of the ball game, Junior Benitez hit three long range buckets from downtown. No Mercy called a timeout and boom up by five points and never looked back.

Chris Anderson finished with a team high 20 points in a losing effort. Also adding offensive solace the loss was Bobby Benitez 14 points and 7 rebounds, who defended well against No Mercy’s front court.

Dion Currie had another excellent evening finished with 17 points and eight rebounds; and team captain Gene Shepherd cashed-in with 14 points, hitting a pair of three pointers.

Keep an eye out for No Mercy’s bench as Cory Aycock and Brian Lockwood are forming one of the strongest and fastest backcourt this season. Aycock chipped in with 12 points and running mate Lockwood added eight points and two steals which played huge in the victory over the Aces.

    Why isn’t Dion Currie for No Mercy not being considered for the 3-pt challenge?! How are the competitors being chosen?
