    also-

    lemme get this straight:

free agent registration (which includes jersey) is $100

registration for players on a team is $100/person ($599 for 6 guys, $100 for additional players) BUT only includes jerseys if you’re new to the league? is there a discount for returning teams? seems like a slap in the face to returning squads. No Mercy should revolt, Gene! CALL CONSUMER ADVOCATES, I smell bull sh**

seriously though, why would the guys who’ve supported this (upstart) league in the past be taxed an addition 40% of their registration for a jersey that everyone else gets “for free”? just sayin.

Yo, if you gonna tout supporting an upstart then do it right. it’s a start up, they’re doing the best they can by us and also make enough money to keep this league afloat.

Look at it this way, the new teams coming in will get the same deal old teams got this year. Just play man, it’s just a jersey.

Couple questions. Just stumbled on this league and am interested in signing up. Whats the competition level? If your a free agent do you just sign up and get placed or do you need to work it out with a team before hand?

competition level is good most games. A few guys former D1 (and other lower division) college players, plenty of guys who just played high school or pickup. Free agents get placed on the free agent team, if there’s enough signups there will be multiple free agent teams. You should sign up and play the summer league, see how you like it, free agents can get picked up onto regular teams for future seasons.

Two of the free agents from the first season were champions the second season, free agents have had a 6th man winner, multiple all stars, and two sportsmanship awards. Free agents have been relatively competitive both seasons, sign up.

    RE: David

You’re mostly right, sorry to nit pick. Andre knows I’m a loyal customer though, I’m entitled to a little groaning. Looking forward to it, see you guys in a few weeks.
