No Mercy send early message to summer league, in thumping of MFA 4.0

No Mercy – 107

MFA 4.0 – 54

No Mercy send early message to summer league, in thumping of MFA 4.0

The comment read in short ‘hold me’ and No Mercy responded with one of the most lopsided victories in recent Hoopz history. No Mercy held the anonymous Blues Man and the entire squad of MFA 4.0 to a sub-par game of the ages winning 107 – 54 in the weekend finale.

Gene Shepherd was all smiles prior to tip-off and much more after the game.

The only one smiling on the Free Agents organization was the General Manager, who says, “this will only makes us better in the long run against the elites and teams like the Warriors.â€

Another GM agreed by saying, “games like this do not happen often but a team is bound to get their faces handed to them when they manage ZERO team assists.â€

The Men’s Free Agents 4.0 did as much on the assist end as Staurt Scott on a Wednesday morning.

Dion Currie, middle, played big finishing with a double-double in Sunday’s action

All but one No Mercy player scored in double digits in this thumping of the ages.

No Mercy was led by Dion Currie 22 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists in the victory.

MFA 4.0 were missing their post dominance in Jared Mast. The presence of Mast would have made a difference given that the best player for the Agents was six foot Sean Davis.

Davis had a strong performance finishing with 33 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Numbers similar to a previous Free Agent, now champion, Gene Shepherd.

Shepherd is one of a kind and so was Davis this game against No Mercy. Many more nights Davis offensive skill will be a necessity for the Agents, as Davis will likely see double and triple teams.

Similar to last season watch out ‘the beast’ Shepherd is hungry for more gold cups, any challengers?

LEAGUE NOTES: All players be sure to arrive early prior to the tip-off to prevent delay. A technical foul will be assessed to the tardy team and play will commence shortly after. Playerz and Fanz be sure to keep the facility clean for our next event. For questions or concerns see your nearest Hoopz Staff member.

Dang! We would’ve had more competition in a lay-up line.. Lol. Please no more free agent teams on our schedule, give them to the warriors or house of video vixons oops I mean house vibe. Lol..those would be great match ups.
