Final Double OT

Late night thriller, Tucker and Maestro, battle in double overtime

From the start not much was happening but boy did that change in the winding moments of regulation.

Joseph Tucker hit the dagger to increase the lead to ten points with 1:30 remaining in the second half.

Moses Davenport was instrumental in the victory scoring from all areas on the court. Put backs, tip-ins, transition buckets or from behind the arc Davenport was on fire.

Clayton King hit a three to bring the game within reach down by only four points with 52.8 seconds remaining.

As cool as the other side of the pillow, Davenport hit key buckets from the line in an attempt to seal the deal.

Maestro took Tucker in the post on multiple occasions to keep the friendly fire matchup.

Jesse Stockwell played big in the paint finishing with 13 rebounds in the win and one steal.

Len Davis hit a last second three to bring the game 67 – 66, Hoop Dreams leading with 8.7 seconds remaining.

Davenport missed one of two to put up Hoop Dreams by a deuce in the winding seconds.

Novak shot fell short and Len Davis put back knotted the game at 68 apiece, sending the game into overtime.

Mario Trutanic hit the opening possession triple to push the HD lead to three with less than two minutes left in the first extra period.

Maestro hit a leaning Tony Parker to knot the game for a second overtime with a 81 – 81 apiece.

Joseph Tucker hit the desperation three, followed by a Trutanic corner pocket three to take the 81 – 85 lead.

Davenport made two free throws to make it a two point game.

Leading 86 – 87 Bring It On went to the line in the double bonus going one of two.

As seconds remained in the second overtime and Bring It On leading by two points, the ball went to Trutanic half court heave wide left.

Bring It On earns first victory of season over Hoop Dreams in a thriller of the ages.

Maestro and Tucker will meet again; same league, soon enough.
