Too close to call, HOV pull away late to win

Battle of the rookies in the weekend finale was too close to call early on by the league executives.

Sean Davis dribbled and shot MFA 4.0 into the game early by draining consecutive buckets before halftime, down 38 – 41 to the HOV.

Jesse Seinfeld grabbed all the 50/50 balls and somehow found Angelo Dawson on the arc.

Sean Davis finished the evening with 38 points and six rebounds in the defeat.

Michael Song picked up the fourth foul with twelve minutes remaining, down 50 – 54, in the second half.

Maestro finished the easy deuce in transition, assist James Ellison.

Pushing the lead to eight, Dawson knocked down a trifecta from the wing.

Playing without a true point guard, #34 Bobby Gigiacomo, passed the rock to an opposing player. On the ensuing possession, Matt Wolf, turned the ball over to Seinfeld where a wide open Dawson was found beyond the arc.

Following the timeout, Sean Davis was found beneath the basket for the easy deuce.

Leading by eight points, HOV, worked to close the door like Teddy Pendagrass in the clutch.

Ellison hit an open transition three to finish off the evening on a high note.

Josh Hover finished the night with 22 points and a team high five assists in the victory.

Teammate Bobby Gigiacomo played well and added 30 points and nine rebounds.
