Watch out here comes the Armada, the Spaniard Armada defeat another

Zach Ellis athleticism was evident in the opening minutes against the Benchmarks.

The Armada led six – null with four minutes gone in the first half.

Seth Mumy mid-range jumper found the bottom on transition and in the lane.

Armada tandem of Neema Samari and Sam Glendon controlled both ends scoring at will and grabbing various offensive rebounds.

Halftime Score

Armada led 30 – 18 over the Benchmarks in game two of weekend play.

On the offensive end Zachary Dworkis led the Benchmarks with six halftime points.

Jesse Tyler shots the free throw for Spaniard Armada

Jesse Tyler was on fire after halftime knocking down a corner three point shot.

Kevin Rosenberg was instrumental securing offensive rebounds and dishing to teammates early in the half.

Josh Wilcox was active in the second half with penetration and tough defense.

Back-to-basics was the tandem combination used by the Armada of Samari and Glendon which kept the door close leading to a 40 – 28 advantage with twelve minutes to play in the game.

Rosenberg fouled out of the game with more than ten minutes remaining in the game.

Van Noll was asked during the game if he was player-coach and he replied, “of course, you gotta have structure.�

Structure it was for the Armada earning the second victory of the season.
