Horton throws down the deuce over GITYL, Warriors win big late

Deante Horton, team captain, arrived on a mission to defeat all challengers in game four of the weekend.

Dan Zinchuk and Kevin Brown battled on both ends of the floor. Likewise, Dave Miller and Obi Ahmadi had a perimeter battle.

Warriors leading 25 – 13 with less than eight minutes to go in the first half, Dabo Kabov and Brown went to work on the offensive end.

Jace Davis hit an open three to push the lead against GITYL.

Horton had a thunderous tip-dunk over Zinchuk in second half bringing the crowd and friends to a frenzy.

After exhausting the springs, Horton said, “now I can sit the rest of the game, my job is done.�

The victory was a job well done by Horton, who provided the energy on both ends of the floor against the bigger Vince Carusso and Aaron Young throughout the contest.

GITYL are in desperate need of reserves, who pride themselves on quick transition buckets.

Kabov found the stroke late knocking down jumper after jumper over the tired legs of the GITYL defenders.

A strong showing for GITYL but a stronger performance for team captain Horton and the Warriors.
