Usual Suspects, stay undefeated in division 4 – 0

Week four and Los Angeles Hoopz basketball is truly in full swing! The anticipation is at boiling point as we wait to see who will put up the biggest numbers, grab the most boards, and put on a dominating performance. So many questions, still unknown, yet one thing is certain; by the time the last basket is scored, there will only be one team standing undefeated! Let’s play ball!!

Game two saw the only two undefeated teams in the league square off! Two would enter but only won would leave victorious and remain perfect! Lead by the ever solid point guard play of Alexander Cuba, the Usual Suspects raced out to an early 15 point lead and never looked back!! The swarming team defense and overall athleticism of the “Usual Suspects� would simply prove to be more than the Bru Dogs could handle. They attacked the boards like animals and broke with incredible speed and accuracy. The lead at half time was 20, and the second half would prove to be more of the same. Behind stellar second half performances by Eric Prete and new comer Sam Street, as well as the lights out 3 point shooting of Mark Jeanetta the Usual Suspects easily strolled over the finish line and cemented their reputation as the #1 team in the league!

Bru Dogs were lead by Andrew Schmoller 16 points and Tony Ngo 11 points in the defeat. Look for the Bru Dogs to recover next week as they faced the new and improved MFA 2.0.
